Milton E. “Potsy” Felton, 74, of Emporia, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Lell B. Felton and was also preceded in death by his wife, Shelva Jean Weaver Felton, brother, Thomas Felton, sister, Linda Green; nephew, Thomas Felton, Jr. and niece, Glenda Pair Archer He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Veliky and fiance’, Floyd Miller; grandchildren, Eric Veliky and Leslie Veliky; devoted companion, Charlotte Newcomb; sister-in-law, Elaine Lane and husband, Warren; nephews Mike Felton and Roger Pair and niece, Terri Denise.. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, July 1 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2.
