DREWRYVILLE — On June 1, 2018, Ashani Sandrea “Tada Bug” McDonald, 16, went to her heavenly home.She was born on Oct. 17, 2001, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, to Robbie Cannady and Loreal McDonald.
Ashani was an intelligent and energetic spirit with a passion for life. She enjoyed music and dancing, and marched in Southampton High School band as a flag girl. Ashani also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Ashani was preceded in death by her grandmother. Sandra J. Sykes, whom she loved and cherished.
Along with her parents, Ashani is survived by her siblings, Ezekiel Hicks, Davyn McAdams, Bryson McAdams, and Phnon Hicks;
her grandmother, Armanda Cannady, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9 AM until 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 7300 Southampton Parkway, Drewryville, VA 23844. She will be laid to rest in the Church Cemetery.
