Shirley Whitehead Walton, 81, of Emporia, VA passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 17th at Southside Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Presley J. “Milly” Walton, her parents, Waverly Curtis Whitehead and Ruth Faison Whitehead and her sister Peggy Ruth Whitehead.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Edward Darrell Walton and wife Kim; Amy Walton King and husband Stacy; and Brian Curtis Walton; grandchildren; Kirby Dale King, Grayson Lane Walton, Presley Dakota Walton, her siblings; Ann whitehead Temple and Virginia Whitehead Pruden, as well as three nieces and two nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 20th, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Emporia Cemetery with Rev. Larry Grizzard officiating.
